Governing Bodies
Piotr AlickiPresident of the Management Board
President of the Management Board since November 2nd, 2016.
In 1990-1998 he worked in the IT Department of Pomorski Bank Kredytowy S.A. in Szczecin (as of 1997 at the position of the Director) and he was responsible for the management of the Bank's transaction systems: including designing, development, implementation and operation phases. In 1999-2010, he held the position of the Director of the IT Systems Development and Maintenance Department in Bank Pekao S.A., and since 2006 he managed the Information Technology Division of the Bank. His responsibilities included integration of IT systems of four banks: Pekao S.A., PBKS S.A., BDK S.A., PBG S.A. and implementation of the Integrated IT System. He also managed IT integration and migration of data from BPH S.A. systems to Pekao S.A. systems and participated in the works of the team responsible for the entire integration process.
Since 2000 he has been the member of the Supervisory Board of KIR and from 2005 to 2010 he was the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. In 2002-2010 he represented Bank Pekao S.A. in the Payment System Council at the National Bank of Poland, and in 2010-2016 he represented PKO Bank Polski S.A.
He was a member of the Supervisory Boards of the companies belonging to the Bank Pekao S.A. Group. While holding the position of the Vice-President of the Management Board of PKO Bank Polski S.A., he was also a member of the Supervisory Boards of the companies belonging to the PKO Bank Polski S.A. Capital Group – Inteligo Financial Services, Nordea Bank Polska and PKO Bank Hipoteczny S.A.
As of November 2010 to October 2016 he held the position of the Vice-President of the Management Board supervising the Area of Information Technology and Services at PKO Bank Polski S.A. His responsibilities included integration of Inteligo to the bank's systems, merger and integration of Nordea Bank Polska to PKO Bank Polski S.A. and development as well as implementation of the mobile payment system – IKO, which constituted the basis for setting up of the Polish Payment Standard.
He took active part in the work of the Polish Bank Association: as a member of its Steering Committee for the Development of Bank Infrastructure, Payments System Committee, Issues Committee for Banking and Bank Financial Services, and its Electronic Banking Council.
He held the position of the Chairman of the Electronic Banking Council of the Polish Bank Association in the period from October 2011 to October 2016.
From May 2011 to April 2015 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Visa Europe representing PKO Bank Polski S.A. and other banks from Poland and seven countries of our sub-region.
He has been awarded the special decoration of the President of NBP "In recognition of merits to the banking sector of the Republic of Poland" and Mikołaj Kopernik Gold Medal awarded by the Polish Bank Association; he was the winner of industry-related competitions: "IT Sector Leader 1997", "IT Sector Leader 2010", "IT Sector Leader 2012", "IT Sector Leader 2016". Recipient of the Digital Shapers 2018 title awarded to outstanding figures in the digital world and new technologies in Poland.
He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań.
Wojciech PantkowskiVice President of the Management Board
Since September 1, 2020, as the Vice President of the Management Board of KIR, he is in charge of the Internet Services and Sales Area.
From 2017 to 2020 he was the Payment System and Electronic Banking Team Director at the Polish Bank Association (ZBP), where he was responsible for, among others, supporting the Polish banking system in development of payment systems and took an active part in the legislative works and dedicated projects as part of digitalization of the banking sector.
From 2007 to 2017, as the Managing Director in Bank Pekao S.A., he was in charge of the Retail Client Department and Marketing and Product Development Department. He coordinated the creation and implementation of the strategy for the retail customer segment and service quality models and programs in the branch offices. He managed the implementation of, among others, bank accounts, card and mobile payment products and international funds transfers. He played a key role in the process of merging Pekao S.A. and Bank BPH S.A. banks. He managed projects within the know-how exchange in the Unicredit Group. He was also in charge of the implementation of the PeoPay application, and of HCE mobile payments, which were the first in Poland and one of the first in the world.
From 1992 to 2007 he worked in Bank BPH S.A., where he was the Bank Director from 1998. Since 2001 he worked as the Managing Director in the Operations, whereas since 2003 – as the Managing Director in the Retail Products Development Area. He was in charge of, among others, implementation of a central IT system. He was a Project Leader for Integration with HVB Group, and also participated in the projects of BPH demerger and merger with Pekao S.A. He managed the marketing strategy and development of products for retail clients.
From 2013 to 2017 he was the Chairman of the Bank Cards Issuers Council of the ZBP. He was also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Direct Banking Center and Card Center and a member of Supervisory Boards of Credit Information Bureau (BIK) and VISA Polish Executive Board.

Robert TrętowskiVice President of the Management Board
As of January 2017 he is the Vice President of the Management Board of KIR, responsible for the Systems Development Area and Public Sector.
From 2011 to 2016 he was the IT Initiatives and Test Department Director at PKO Bank Polski S.A., holding responsibility for the analysis, monitoring and management of the IT project portfolio.
He played a key role in the execution of Nordea Bank Polska and SKOK Wesoła acquisition process by PKO BP S.A. and managed the IT aspects of Inteligo migration and implementation of iPKO and iPKO Biznes - e-banking services designed for individual and corporate clients respectively. He supervised the IKO application implementation and was involved in establishment of the Polski Standard Płatności company and building of the BLIK standard, as a member of the Supervisory Board. He participated in the development of credit card offer, alternative payment methods and implementation of Rodzina 500+ (the Family 500+) program, SSO for ZUS (Polish Social Security) and Trusted Profile. He was a member of the Architecture and Security Committee at PKO Bank Polski.
From 2002 to 2011, as the Director of the E-Banking Office at BRE Bank S.A., he was responsible for iBRE Banking, Cards, Cash, Invoice.net, Connect, Trade Finance, sale zone and migration of customers from Dresdner Bank Polska to BRE Bank S.A. He was in charge of the E-Banking Support and Integration Area (Customer Service) and BRE p@rtner Program. He managed IT services provided to corporations and IT project portfolio.
He manages the eID Task Force of the Electronic Banking Council of the Polish Bank Association. He is a member of the Committee of the Council of Ministers Expert Team for digitalization and working teams of the "Casless, Paperless Poland" program in the areas of the e-ID, e-Services, Architecture, Cashless Trade Development.
In 2018, he received the Professor Remigiusz Kaszubski Award for creating innovative solutions and involvement in Polish API, eID, and Split Payment projects.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economic Sciences, the University of Warsaw.
